BIOGRAPHY
Chin-Cheng Hung was born in Keelung, Taiwan. He is a professor of foundation studies at Savannah College of Art and Design – Atlanta. He is a member of several prestigious organizations including Portrait Society of America; Pastel Society of America; Southeastern Pastel Society; and Chinese-American Academic and Professional Association in Southeastern United States. Hung has received numerous awards from different juried competitions and has been featured in international art publications such as “International Artist”, “New American Painting”, and “The Pastel Journal” magazines. Hung published “Depiction of Reality” featuring his pastel paintings in 2013 and recently “Drawing from Life – Lessons in Figure Drawing” along with four instructional videos. His biography was selected to be listed in the newest editions of Marquis “Who’s Who in the World”, “Who’s Who in America”, “Who’s Who in American Art”, and “Who’s Who among American Teachers and Educators”. His works hang in many private and corporate collections in Taiwan and the United States.
